Murray Music Club - Sunday 12th October

Featuring Rosie Haden!

Murray Music Club Sunday 12th October 2.00pm at The Lounge Cafe Bar plus Open Microphone.

Rosie is back at Murray Music Club! Ex Yackandandah and currently based in Melbourne, she has recently been playing mostly solo gigs around Melbourne, written several new songs and has plans for recording with Andy Cowan in October.

At Murray Music she will be performing with PETER BEULKE (Continental Robert Cruz, Brunswick Blues Shooters, Andy Baylor) on double bass and JOHN FAIRBRIDGE (Slidewinders) on lead guitar. Rosie will perform some of her fabulous songs solo and some of her sets as a trio.

At the core of Rosie Haden's writing and performance is the musical spirit of 1960's San Fransisco. More Grace Slick than Janis Joplin, more Mamas and Papas than Grateful Dead, yet every note and word of Rosie's performance distills and delivers the essence of that era to speak for the 21st century.

Raunchy, powerful vocals full of lust and desire. Deeply soulful. Thoroughly original and utterly convincing.

The Old Codgers band was formed in 2007 and consists of Students and Teachers from The Wodonga Academy of Music.

The Band plays interpretations of well known songs from the 60's to current Chart Hits as well as Originals. A diverse play list ensures that there is something for everyone to enjoy, from the easy listening to the funky.

The O.C.'s are David Kennedy (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Gary Talford (Lead Guitar,Vocals), Kevin Fischer (Bass, Vocals), Paul Brosche (Keys, Vocals) and Steve Benz (Drums, Vocals).
